I have just found out that I am part of the Jasmine clan as well. I think my ancestors came here via the southern route (via Spain). The reason I think this is that both myself and my half-sister, on separate occasions, have been mistaken for Spanish, by the Spanish people in Spain. She has been told by a doctor that she has an Egyptian shaped head. I, too, have the same shaped head, so that must run in the female side of our family (as we have different fathers).
