Do partners 'naturally' choose each other to have different mtDNA? My husband and I, and, my mother and father, have different mtDNAs: Father - Katrine, Mother - Tara; me - Tara, my husband - Helena. I would be very interested to hear of any others who have information of this type. Are my two results just chance or is this a hidden pattern in human biology?
